College Scholarship Program

To date, The Ike Foundation® has awarded over $85,000 in college scholarships to qualifying high school students from across the country. These students have been involved or volunteered in fishing, outdoor activities, or conservation. They have gone on to pursue degrees ranging from Biology, Environmental Science, and Computer Engineering to Photography and Business Management.

Each year, The Ike Foundation poses a standard essay question for graduating High School seniors who are seeking financial assistance as they continue their education at a 2- or 4-year College/University. Along with an essay, applicants have to meet eligibility criteria.

The Ike Foundation Scholarship Program opens every November and has a deadline of the following April. Scholarship recipients are announced in May of their graduating year.

We are excited to announce that this year’s Scholarship Dinner will be held on Friday, January 27, 2024, at The Grove at Centerton. The scholarships that we are able to give out to the chosen graduating seniors are funded by our annual Scholarship Dinner.

The 2024 Ike Foundation Scholarship Dinner

Buy your tickets for a great cause – Kids Fishing! The Ike Foundation is hosting its sixth annual adults-only Scholarship Fundraiser. Enjoy a night of great food, beer, a basket auction, 50/50, and more! All proceeds support the mission of The Ike Foundation®, to get more kids fishing and in the outdoors, especially youth in areas where those activities are not readily available.

Scholarships will be awarded to 2023-2024 graduating high school seniors who have given back or made a positive influence in their community through their love of fishing and the outdoors. Last year we raised $17,500 to give five deserving seniors a scholarship towards their college education. Tickets are available for $55 (+ processing fees) each. See you there!
