The Ike Foundation recently spent a fun-filled morning at Coombs Farm Camp, introducing two groups of 25 campers to the joy of fishing—many for the very first time! With Abu Garcia Ike Dude rods in hand and live worms provided by Blackwater Sports, the young anglers learned the basics of casting, reeling, and safely releasing fish back into the water.
Laughter and smiles were everywhere as the campers reeled in bass and sunnies, celebrating each catch with excitement and curiosity. The experience gave many of these kids their first hands-on opportunity to connect with nature and build confidence in a new skill.
The Ike Foundation was proud to be a part of this special day, continuing our mission to get more kids outdoors and fishing. Thank you to Coombs Farm Camp and all our partners for making this a memorable experience for everyone involved! Check out our programs and join The Ike Foundation at a future event. Let’s get more kids outdoors and fishing!
