The Ike Foundation® has partnered with The Center for Aquatic Sciences and the Camden County Police Department to teach children enrolled in LUCY Outreach summer camp to fish and spend time enjoying the outdoors. LUCY Outreach is a nonprofit organization in Camden, NJ that empowers children and youth to become community leaders by providing programs that offer a safe haven and 
support their educational, social, emotional and physical growth. In July, The Ike Foundation visited LUCY Outreach to teach staff members to fish and then joined them, and The Center for Aquatic Sciences and Camden County Police Officers, to teach LUCY Outreach summer campers to fish at Cramer Hill Waterfront Park in Camden, NJ. Many of the children caught their first fish and they were especially excited to go fishing with police officers! Great memories were made that day and we look forward to making many more!
